I’ve seen plenty of my personal favorites fail to crack an 89 point score. The taster was clearly wowed by its harmonious profile, calling it “bold, strong, and layered.”
We wouldn’t expect anything less from a blend that uses nothing but Cuban seed tobacco. Finely harvested and aged for a full six years. All the while gathering more and more natural flavor as it ferments. That’s not the end of its aging process though. The slick, rapturous Maduro wrapper is aged for an additional sixteen months in bourbon barrels.
